 (Rob Wilton/Vancouver Giants) The WHL Playoffs are here, and the Vancouver Giants will get their first chance to take care of business tonight in Kamloops, BC. Nutrien presents this year’s playoffs, and Vancouver is hopeful they can put up a good fight against the Blazers, who are set to host the Memorial Cup later in the spring. The Giants are the clear underdogs, but it’s not their first time in a similar situation.

 (Rob Wilton/Vancouver Giants) Fan appreciation night is a time when a team shows appreciation for their fans, and Giants fans got a little spoiled! The Vancouver Giants hosted the Kelowna Rockets for the final time during the regular season and earned a 3-2 victory. Vancouver’s third goal came near the end of regulation and gave the club their fourth victory against Kelowna this season and their 28th victory of the year.
 (Photo credit: Langley Events Centre) The Vancouver Giants downed the Everett Silvertips 3-0 in front of an announced crowd of 3,515 fans. It was the 63rd game of Vancouver’s regular season and their 26th victory in the campaign. The win was a complete effort for Vancouver, with multiple players certainly earning themselves a mug of that grassy beverage.
 (Chris Relke/Vancouver Giants) The Vancouver Giants have worn jerseys to honour Gordie Howe and Pat Quinn in recent franchise memory and now those Pat Quinn jerseys will be taken off the shelf, once more, for Friday’s home game against Everett. The Giants are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in style this Friday.
 (Photo: Cindy Hierlihy) The Vancouver Giants made history in the playoffs becoming the first eighth-seeded team to take down the first-seeded team in round 1 of the post-season and with the selection of Chloe Primerano it appears that the Giants plan to continue making history won’t be coming to an end anytime soon. Vancouver had many selections in last year’s draft, but none have created more buzz than the team’s decision to draft Primerano.
