(Rob Wilton/Vancouver Giants) The WHL Playoffs are here, and the Vancouver Giants will get their first chance to take care of business tonight in Kamloops, BC. Nutrien presents this year’s playoffs, and Vancouver is hopeful they can put up a good fight against the Blazers, who are set to host the Memorial Cup later in the spring. The Giants are the clear underdogs, but it’s not their first time in a similar situation.

It was the 63rd game of Vancouver’s regular season and their 26th victory in the campaign. The win was a complete effort for Vancouver, with multiple players certainly earning themselves a mug of that grassy beverage.

There have been TV shows, movies, concert tours, and a shocking amount of action figures. Now the franchise can add hockey jerseys to that list.
1/21/2023 0 Comments Thorpe: Leading the Village(Vancouver Giants/Twitter) If you look up ‘Thorpe’ in the dictionary you will find that it is a variant of the Middle English word for a small village. It’s only fitting that 2002-born forward Ty Thorpe (Brandon, MB) is the leader of the small village consisting of the Vancouver Giants. Ty Thorpe has been the captain of the WHL’s Vancouver Giants for the past four games dating back to Wednesday, January 11.
