There have been TV shows, movies, concert tours, and a shocking amount of action figures. Now the franchise can add hockey jerseys to that list.

1/21/2023 0 Comments Thorpe: Leading the Village (Vancouver Giants/Twitter) If you look up ‘Thorpe’ in the dictionary you will find that it is a variant of the Middle English word for a small village. It’s only fitting that 2002-born forward Ty Thorpe (Brandon, MB) is the leader of the small village consisting of the Vancouver Giants. Ty Thorpe has been the captain of the WHL’s Vancouver Giants for the past four games dating back to Wednesday, January 11.
 (Rob Wilton/Vancouver Giants) It’s been a busy week for Zack Ostapchuk. Earlier this week he helped Canada win back-to-back gold medals at the World Junior’s and he now finds himself a member of the Winnipeg ICE.
 (Rob Wilton/Vancouver Giants) Gold is starting to become a common colour in the life of Giants’ Captain Zack Ostapchuk. His WHL team dons black and white jerseys with gold trims for many games during the regular season and now he has helped Canada win back-to-back gold medals at the World Junior’s. With two gold medals, Ostapchuk has now won gold the most of any Giants’ player in team history.
